“Paul helped me to find my big weakness that was my intonation, and I also practiced with other group members. It was really helpful!”
Anny was part of the first round of TOEFL Speaking Group Classes that TOEFL Speaking Teacher taught in July/August 2016.
Before registering for TOEFL Speaking Group Classes, Anny had taken the TOEFL several times, and had failed to earn 26 on TOEFL Speaking. She needed this score to get her work visa, so she could work in Detroit again.
She attended all 8 TOEFL Speaking Group Classes and worked hard outside of class, including meeting with other students, and constantly evaluating her own responses.
At the end of group classes in early August 2016, Anny took one class with our head instructor Paul Austin to finalize a few skills.
In late-August, she sat for the TOEFL.
About 10 days later she got her results back and posted to our premium TOEFL Speaking Members forum:
When we asked Anny to give some details about her story, here is what she said:
¨I took group classes, that was my good experience.
Paul helped me to find my big weakness that was my intonation, and I also practiced with other group members.
It was really helpful! Paul is a good teacher, very professional!
And group classes are also affordable. Thanks!¨
Anny was the 2nd student from our TOEFL Speaking Group Classes ( after Sarah) to get 26 on TOEFL Speaking!
