“For most people, including me, it´s really difficult to assess their own Speaking Skills, because they don’t have the needed objectivity and experience.  That’s why I would recommend anybody who is trying to find out how good his performance at the Speaking Section is or anybody who is trying to find out how to improve to do so with the Speaking Evaluation.”

Frederic Joergensen contacted the TST team  just a few days before his TOEFL exam. In fact, he met our tutor and evaluator Jamie Tanzman  for a TOEFL Speaking evaluation and set for the TOEFL two days later.
The resut was impressive! Frederic scored 28 on TOEFL Speaking section and, as he told us later, the evaluation really helped him improve his speaking skills in just one and a half days.

“In my opinion, the Speaking Section is the hardest and weirdest part of the TOEFL Test. Because the rating of the Speaking Section involves more complex factors than all the other sections, it was difficult for me to find my weaknesses there in order to advance my skills.

Just a few days before the actual exam, I decided that I would need someone professional to take a look at my Speaking Section performance. Therefore I booked a Speaking Evaluation. In this evaluation Jamie gave me advice and honest feedback. Especially the fact that she gave very open and clear feedback helped me understanding immediately what I was doing wrong.
By applying her advice I was able to score 28 on the Speaking Section. I am pretty sure that my score would have been at least a few points lower without her feedback.
For most people, including me, it´s really difficult to assess their own Speaking Skills, because they don’t have the needed objectivity and experience.
That’s why I would recommend anybody who is trying to find out how good his performance at the Speaking Section is or anybody who is trying to find out how to improve to do so with the Speaking Evaluation.”
