Rupal Panchal
Physical therapist

Rupal Panchal, a physical therapist from India, had taken the TOEFL 3 times before she contacted the TST in March 2019. She enrolled in private classes with TOEFL Speaking tutor Katie Reaburn and finally got the desired 26 on TOEFL Speaking. But don’t take our word for it. Here’s Rupal’s testimonial:

I was struggling in the speaking section of the TOEFL and was always stuck between 23 -25 score.  I am a physical therapist, and for licensure purpose, I had to score 26 in the speaking section.

I took TOEFL 3 times and I was frustrated by not getting 26 on speaking. This time I was sure that I wouldn’t be able to do it If I did not get the strategies and guidance for Speaking on TOEFL.

One of my friends suggested TOEFL Speaking Teacher (TST) class as she herself took it when she was in the same boat as me a couple of years ago. I enrolled in one-on-one sessions with Katie Reaburn and It was the best decision.

She encouraged me by suggesting that I am doing good and all I need is trying to put my personal example in question 1 and 2 which is the independent speaking section. I was losing most points there, and this strategy of her helped me to become more fluent and natural, and with that lots of umms… and uhhs… pauses started disappearing from my speech.

With those 2 sessions, she also helped to work on my note-taking strategies for Integrated speaking and stressed on writing down key information and speaking it in my own words by being as natural as possible.

With all these practice and strategies from Katie, I was very confident before my exam and I aced it by getting 26 in my 4th attempt. I would definitely recommend Katie if you are struggling to get 26 or 27 on speaking section of TOEFL.

THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN, KATIE 🙂
